Website Visitor Notice

Last updated 29 September 2026 · Devtech, LLC d/b/a Agency Pilot

You're reading this because a website you visited uses the Agency Pilot script, usually installed by the business's marketing agency. This notice explains what the script collects. The business's own privacy policy applies too.

Who is responsible

The business that owns the website (and its marketing agency) decides to use the script and what it's used for. Agency Pilot is their service provider and processes the data on their behalf.

What is collected

  • How you arrived: the referring site, the page you landed on, campaign tags and ad click identifiers.
  • Your visit: IP address and the network and approximate location it indicates, browser and device details, screen size, language and time zone, pages viewed, time on site, scrolling, clicks and taps.
  • A random visitor ID in a cookie, and a fingerprint derived from your browser, to recognise repeat visits and fraud.
  • What you submit in the site's forms when you send an enquiry, such as your name, email, phone and message.
  • If the business has turned it on: a recording of your visit. Passwords and card numbers are never recorded, and what you type is hidden unless the business has chosen to show it.

Cookie names and lifetimes are in our Cookie Policy.

Why

  • To tell the business which marketing brought in each enquiry.
  • To detect fake enquiries, bots and fraudulent ad clicks, and to protect the business's ad budget.
  • To understand how visitors use the site (heatmaps and, if enabled, recordings) and to make it work better.
  • To check that the website is up and working.

Session recording and consent

Recording is off unless the business turns it on. The business can show a consent banner that asks before recording; if you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, your visit is not recorded. The banner's answer is remembered for 180 days.

Sharing

The data is available to the business and its agency. If you become a customer, the business may send details of the sale with your ad click and a scrambled (hashed) email and phone to Google or Meta to measure its advertising. To spot fraud across many websites, Agency Pilot keeps scrambled, one-way versions of identifiers like IP addresses and emails, which no business can use to see your activity on another business's site.

How long it's kept

Visit data for up to 13 months; recordings for 30, 60 or 90 days depending on the business's settings; page snapshots for 90 days. Enquiries you submit are kept by the business as long as it needs them.

Your choices and rights

You can block or clear cookies in your browser and use Global Privacy Control. To access, correct or delete your data, contact the business whose website you visited. You can also email [email protected] with the website's address and we will pass your request to them and help them respond.
