Measure and improve ChatGPT visibility
Build a repeatable review of business mentions, factual accuracy and cited sources. Connect AI visibility observations to useful client work and honest reporting.

Choose questions with a business purpose
Start with the services and locations the client actually wants to serve. Include questions that a prospective customer would ask when comparing providers or checking business facts. Record the wording, engine and collection date. A handpicked favorable answer is not a market-wide visibility score, so document how the query set was chosen.
Inspect the answer and the source
Check whether the business is mentioned, how it is described and which sources support the answer. Verify contact details, services and locations against approved business facts. If an answer contains an error, identify the underlying public sources where possible. Correcting a website or directory record is a concrete action; promising that every future AI response will change is not.
Report visibility alongside actual outcomes
Agency Pilot’s AI Search Visibility audit checks supported answer samples and competitor mentions. Preserve its scope rather than assuming coverage of every model, consumer interface or session. Compare observations over time using a consistent query set. Report visits, leads and recorded revenue separately when those data are available, and label any estimated opportunity as an estimate.
Frequently asked questions
Is one ChatGPT response a reliable benchmark?
It is one observation. Use a documented query set and repeated, comparable checks to understand patterns, while retaining variation and collection limits.
Can I make ChatGPT recommend my client?
You can improve factual accuracy, useful content and accessible evidence. You cannot guarantee how an independent AI system will answer a future question.
Should I report mentions as leads?
No. A mention or citation is a visibility observation. Leads and sales require their own records and a defensible attribution method.
