Website and hosting access on the same link

Guided step for the client

Most sites have no API for adding a user, so Agency Pilot gives you a step library instead. Put WordPress, GoDaddy, Hostinger, Wix, Squarespace — or anything you write yourself — on the same onboarding link as Google and Meta. The client follows your steps, answers one optional question such as the login URL, and taps I've done this. Passwords are never asked for.

How it works

Under Onboarding → Connected accounts → Other access, you keep a library of step-by-step requests for places without an API. Each has a title, the steps, and an optional question — for example, "What is your WordPress login page?"

Tick the steps you need when you create a link. The link stays open until every platform is connected and every step is marked done, so you know the moment you have everything.

The steps clients usually follow

These are the in-platform routes the library starts from. Edit them to match how your agency works.

  • WordPress: Users → Add New User, enter the agency's email, choose Administrator or Editor, and click Add New User.
  • GoDaddy: Account settings → Delegate Access → Invite to Access, enter the agency's name and email and choose the access level.
  • Hostinger: hPanel → Account sharing → Grant access, enter the agency's email and choose what to share.
  • Wix: Settings → Roles & Permissions → Invite People, enter the email and pick a role.
  • Squarespace: Settings → Permissions & Ownership → Invite contributor, enter the email and choose permissions.

    Each platform has its own users screen — the same place the client added you. Remove the agency's email there.

Website & hosting access: common questions

Why not just ask for the password?
Shared passwords break the moment the client changes them, can't be revoked for one person, and leave both sides exposed. Every step in the library invites your own login instead.
Can I add platforms that aren't listed?
Yes. Choose Something else, write the steps and question, and save it to your library.
