Worked example
Walk through a local SEO reporting cycle
Follow an illustrative reporting workflow from baseline to client decision. Use the evidence worksheet to evaluate the process without inventing customer results.

Set the evaluation question
This is a worked process example, not a published customer success story. Imagine an agency reviewing one location and a small set of service queries. The question is whether the team can create a comparable visibility baseline, investigate one issue and explain the next action clearly. No traffic gain, ranking lift or time saving is claimed.
Collect evidence and complete one action
Confirm the business identity and scan configuration. Run the relevant scan, inspect a weak area and validate an associated profile or website finding. Assign an action with an owner and completion check. Retain the original observation and the verified change. If the issue cannot be reproduced, record the uncertainty instead of changing the example to guarantee success.
Prepare the review and evaluate the handoff
Create a report summary that distinguishes the baseline, the work completed and any subsequent observation. Ask another account manager to explain the next step using the same record. Record what they could understand, what required help and which data were missing. These are evaluation findings you can measure; the worksheet does not manufacture a customer outcome.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a real customer case study?
No. It is explicitly an illustrative evaluation workflow. There is no named customer, testimonial or claimed performance result.
What should I measure during the exercise?
Measure completion of the agreed tasks, corrections needed, time spent and whether another person can interpret the evidence. Retain the actual observations rather than using sample numbers.
Can the exercise become a customer story?
Only after collecting real evidence and obtaining approval to publish the relevant names, data and claims. Keep the original measurement context with the approved story.
